An AI for trainers course teaches trainers and instructional designers to use generative AI tools to analyse needs, draft learning objectives, build activities, write assessments and review feedback faster. Bodhih's version is built around the ADDIE model, with practical labs on prompting, quality checks, responsible use and a personal AI workflow each trainer takes back to work.

Also known as: AI for trainers, generative AI for L&D, AI in instructional design, AI tools for trainers
Where and how: AI for trainers certification as an in-person workshop in Bengaluru, Mumbai, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Kolkata; as a live online course; or delivered overseas in Dubai, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and across the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
Why trainers need an AI workflow now
Generative AI has changed how quickly a training draft can be produced, but speed without judgement produces generic, inaccurate content. Trainers who know how to brief, check and refine AI output can spend more time on the part that matters: the learning experience itself.
Most L&D teams are already experimenting, often without shared rules on data, accuracy or bias. An AI for trainers course gives your team a common method, a safe-use policy and prompts that fit your own programs.
LinkedIn's 2025 Workplace Learning Report found 71% of L&D professionals are exploring, experimenting with or integrating AI into their work.
What participants will be able to do
Prompt with purpose
Write structured prompts that give AI the audience, context, constraints and output format a training task needs.
Speed up needs analysis
Use AI to summarise survey data, interview notes and job descriptions into a first-cut skills gap picture.
Draft designs faster
Generate learning objectives, session flows, case studies and role-play briefs, then refine them to your standard.
Build better assessments
Create question banks, scenario items and rubrics aligned to objectives and Bloom's levels, and check them for flaws.
Use AI responsibly
Apply clear rules on confidential data, copyright, factual accuracy and bias before any AI output reaches learners.
Own a personal AI workflow
Leave with a tested, documented workflow and prompt library for your own programs and delivery style.

How we deliver it
Bring your own program
Participants work on a real session or course from their own portfolio, so every lab produces something usable on Monday.
Tool-agnostic practice
Labs use whichever approved AI tools your organisation provides, and the methods transfer to any mainstream assistant.
Critique before create
Every AI output is reviewed against a checklist, building the habit of checking facts, bias and fit before anything reaches learners.
Designed with ADDIE
The course follows Bodhih's ADDIE approach and is customised after a short needs conversation with your L&D lead.
Tailored versions
For internal L&D and academy teams
Adds a session on building a shared prompt library, review workflow and AI use policy for the whole team.
For freelance and independent trainers
Focuses on faster proposal writing, client needs analysis and repurposing content across formats.
For technical and GCC academies
Uses technical training examples, such as code walkthroughs and product labs, and covers extra data-handling rules.
How we measure impact
We measure impact across the Kirkpatrick levels. A pre-course skills check and a post-course practical test show change in prompting and quality-review skill, and can be run on AssessAll where relevant. Each participant submits an AI-assisted module that is scored against a rubric. At 30, 60 and 90 days we check in on adoption: time saved on design tasks, reuse of the prompt library and manager or L&D lead feedback on content quality.
Pair this program with AssessAll, Bodhih’s AI assessment platform, for pre- and post-program skill measurement.
Frequently asked questions
How can trainers use AI in their work?
Trainers can use AI to summarise needs analysis data, draft learning objectives, generate scenarios and role-plays, write quiz questions, create facilitator notes and analyse feedback. The value comes from giving AI a precise brief and then reviewing its output critically. Our AI for trainers course teaches both halves, so you get speed without losing accuracy or your own voice.
Will AI replace corporate trainers?
AI is very good at producing first drafts, but it cannot read a room, adapt to a struggling learner or build trust with a team. Trainers who use AI well tend to move up the value chain, spending less time on formatting and more on design, facilitation and coaching. The course is built around that shift.
Which AI tools will we use?
We work with the tools your organisation already approves, such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or Gemini. The prompting methods and quality checks are tool-agnostic, so they keep working as tools change. If your team has no approved tool yet, we agree a safe setup with your L&D and IT teams during the needs conversation.
Is it safe to put training content into AI tools?
It depends on the tool, your licence and the content. Public tools should never receive confidential client data, personal information or unreleased material. A dedicated module covers what to share, what to anonymise and what to keep out, and helps your team draft a simple AI use policy that fits your organisation's own rules.
Do participants need any technical background?
No coding or technical background is needed. Participants should be comfortable designing or delivering training and using everyday office software. We start with plain-language AI basics and build up through guided labs. More experienced AI users can take on stretch tasks, such as building a full prompt library or an AI-assisted evaluation dashboard.
Is there a certificate?
Yes. Participants who complete the labs and submit an AI-assisted capstone module receive a Bodhih certificate of completion. The capstone is reviewed against a quality rubric, so the certificate reflects applied skill rather than attendance alone. Many participants pair this course with Bodhih's Train the Trainer or instructional design programs.
Can the course be customised for our organisation?
Yes. Every batch is customised using the ADDIE model. We review your programs, tools and data rules before the course, then build the labs around your own content. Duration, format and depth can change to suit your team, from a focused one-day workshop to a longer blended journey with coaching.
