AI Readiness Check for Your Team: Exploring, Adopting, Scaling or Leading?

Free, no-sign-up AI readiness check for a team: 8 questions on rules, real use, verification, shared prompts and measurement, scored in your browser, with the training that fits each level.

An AI readiness check for a team asks eight questions about rules, real weekly use, verification of output, shared task instructions, measurement, delegation judgement, ownership and what happens to the time saved. Bodhih's free check scores in your browser, with no sign-up, and places the team in one of four stages, each with the training that fits: AI at Work Essentials for the floor, role-based Applied AI Pathways for depth, Agentic AI for multi-step work. It is a team self-check, not an audit.

Answer for one team you manage or support. Eight questions, two minutes, no sign-up; nothing is stored or sent.

  1. Everyone on the team knows which AI tools they are allowed to use with company data, and which they are not.

  2. At least half the team uses an AI assistant for real work (drafting, summarising, analysis) every week.

  3. People check AI output against a source before it goes to a customer or a decision-maker.

  4. The team has written task instructions (prompts, checklists or templates) that others reuse, rather than everyone starting from scratch.

  5. We have measured at least one task before and after using AI: time saved, error rate or output quality.

  6. Managers can tell the difference between a task to delegate to AI, a task to do with AI, and a task to keep fully human.

  7. Someone owns AI skills for the team: a champion, a learning plan or a budget line.

  8. We have a plan for what people do with the time AI frees up.

01

Why "everyone uses ChatGPT" is not readiness

Usage is high and value is low in most Indian workplaces. Simplilearn's 2026 India survey, summarised on this site, found 85% of professionals using AI tools while only 26% felt ready for AI-driven work; CompTIA's 2026 research, also summarised here, found 83% of organisations calling reskilling vital while 34% had a program. The gap is not access to tools, it is three missing habits: a shared floor of what the tools can and cannot do, verification before anything leaves the team, and a before/after measure on real tasks. The eight questions above test those habits.

What the four stages mean for a training plan

Stage Score What it looks like Training that fits
Exploring 0 to 7 Individual experiments, no rules, no measure AI at Work Essentials (online, 4 hours) for everyone; AI literacy training in-house for the policy and the floor
Adopting 8 to 13 Real use, private practice, no shared method Generative AI training for the team; prompt engineering training to make task instructions reusable
Scaling 14 to 19 Rules, usage, some measurement Agentic AI for Business Professionals (online, 16 hours); role Pathways for sales, HR, marketing and finance
Leading 20 to 24 Deliberate, measured, shared AI for leaders for the next layer; AI literacy assessment to find who still needs the floor
03

How to measure before and after

Pick two recurring tasks (a weekly report, a customer email, a first-draft proposal). Time them and score them for errors or quality for one week before training and one week after. That is the whole method; it is what Bodhih builds into its AI programs and what the Bodhih.org Pathways do with their 90-day re-measure. The AI Literacy Assessment on AssessAll gives a scored baseline per person for larger groups.

Frequently asked questions

Is this AI readiness check free?

Yes. It runs in your browser, needs no email address and stores nothing. The training it points to is priced separately and clearly marked as in-house (bodhih.com), online (Bodhih.org) or assessment (AssessAll).

Does AI literacy training have a legal basis?

In the European Union, Article 4 of the AI Act asks providers and deployers to ensure a sufficient level of AI literacy among staff who operate or use AI systems. India has no equivalent statute as of November 2026, but most enterprise AI policies and client contracts now expect evidence that staff were trained. Bodhih's AI literacy training is training, not legal advice.

What is the difference between AI essentials and agentic AI training?

Essentials covers using an assistant well for one task at a time: asking, checking, protecting data. Agentic AI covers handing multi-step work to AI systems with oversight: specifying the task, setting the checks, reviewing the result. Teams need the first before the second.

How long does it take a team to move one stage?

One quarter, typically. Essentials training is four hours online or one day in-house; the measured change shows at 90 days, which is why the Bodhih.org Pathways re-assess at that point.

Can we run this check across the whole company?

For a company-wide baseline use a scored instrument so results are comparable: the AI Literacy Assessment on AssessAll for individuals, or a short team survey. This page's check is for one team at a time.
