Licences alone do not create adoption
Many organisations switch Copilot on and expect usage to follow. In practice, people try a few prompts, get generic answers and quietly go back to old habits.
Focused Microsoft Copilot training shows each role where Copilot saves real time, how to ask for what they need and how to check the result. It also reinforces that Copilot works within the permissions and policies your IT team has set.
What participants will be able to do
Know what Copilot can reach
Explain in simple terms how Copilot draws on the files, mail and chats a user already has permission to see.
Tame the inbox and meetings
Use Copilot to summarise long threads and meetings, draft replies and capture action items.
Draft and refine documents
Create first drafts in Word from notes or reference files and refine them for audience and tone.
Explore data in Excel
Ask Copilot for formulas, summaries and charts, and check its analysis before using the numbers.
Build presentations faster
Turn an outline or document into a structured PowerPoint draft and then shape it with your own insight.
Use it responsibly
Apply data sensitivity labels, verification habits and your acceptable-use policy to every Copilot task.

How we deliver it
Independent and practical
Bodhih is an independent training provider, not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft. We focus on how your people work, not on product marketing.
Labs in your environment
Where possible, labs run in your own tenant with sample files, so participants practise with the features your licences actually include.
Role-based scenarios
Exercises differ for managers, analysts, assistants and frontline leads, keeping every task relevant.
Champion enablement
Optional sessions equip internal Copilot champions to run clinics and keep the prompt library alive.
Tailored versions
For leaders and executive assistants
A shorter format focused on email triage, meeting preparation, briefing notes and decision summaries.
For finance and analytics teams
Extra time in Excel with Copilot, covering reconciliations, variance commentary and checks on AI-generated calculations.
For Copilot champions
A train-the-champion session on running drop-in clinics, collecting use cases and handling common user questions.
How we measure impact
Under the Evaluate stage of ADDIE, a short pre and post skills check on AssessAll measures prompting confidence and safe-use knowledge. Where your IT team shares usage reports, we look at active use before and after training. Managers log time saved on two or three agreed tasks, and at 30, 60 and 90 days we run clinics and pulse surveys to identify teams that need extra support.
Pair this program with AssessAll, Bodhih’s AI assessment platform, for pre- and post-program skill measurement.
Frequently asked questions
How do I train employees on Microsoft Copilot?
Start with the apps and tasks people use most, then practise with realistic files. Our Microsoft Copilot training combines a short briefing on permissions and policy with labs in Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Each participant leaves with a role-based prompt library and a 30-day practice plan.
Is Bodhih a Microsoft partner?
No, Bodhih's Microsoft Copilot training is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Microsoft. We design the program around your organisation's goals and policies. For licensing, technical deployment and product support, please work with Microsoft or your licensing partner.
Is Copilot training needed after licences are assigned?
Usually, yes, because without guidance many users try a few generic prompts and stop. Training shows people where Copilot helps in their specific role, how to phrase requests and how to review results. It also reduces risk by reinforcing data sensitivity rules and checking habits.
What data can Copilot access?
In general, Microsoft 365 Copilot works with content that the signed-in user already has permission to access, such as their mail, chats and shared files. Exact behaviour depends on your licences and IT configuration, so we confirm the details with your IT team and reflect them in the program.
How long does Copilot training take?
Bodhih recommends one day in person or three two-hour live virtual sessions, followed by a clinic a few weeks later. Leaders often prefer a shorter, focused version. We customise the length and app coverage to your roles, licence type and adoption goals.
Does the program cover Copilot agents and Copilot Studio?
The core program focuses on everyday productivity inside Microsoft 365 apps. For teams exploring agents, we can add an introductory module on writing clear agent instructions and good governance, based on what your organisation has enabled. Deep technical build work is outside the scope of this program.
Can the training run in our own Microsoft 365 environment?
Often, yes, and practising in your own tenant means participants see exactly the Copilot features and data boundaries your licences and settings allow. We agree sample files and test accounts with your IT team in advance. Where that is not possible, we use realistic demo content and focus on transferable prompting and review habits.
