Why the human part of the job is growing, not shrinking
Generative AI now sits in email, spreadsheets, code editors and CRMs. Tasks that once filled a day take minutes, and many employees are quietly asking what that means for them. Silence from the organisation tends to turn that question into anxiety.
The answer is not to out-compute the machine. It is to get better at the things AI cannot do alone: framing the right problem, reading a room, weighing trade-offs and bringing people together. Human skills training makes those abilities visible, practised and part of each person's growth plan.
Employers expect 39% of workers' core skills to change by 2030.
Learning of adaptive or soft skills grew 25% year on year on Udemy Business.

Sample training plan: 2-day hands-on design
This two-day workshop answers a quiet worry: where do I fit once AI can draft, summarise and code? Participants break their own role into tasks AI can automate, augment or never own. They review flawed AI recommendations from their domain, handle an upset customer that a chatbot has already failed, use AI as a sparring partner and then out-think it, and redesign a real workflow with clear human and AI hand-offs. The capstone is a live human-plus-AI challenge judged by a panel, and everyone leaves with a 90-day reskilling plan.
Participants can see which parts of their role are distinctly human, judge AI outputs with care and handle emotional conversations that should never be automated.

Recommended: 2 days in person (09:30–17:30), or 5 × 2.5-hour live virtual sessions, plus a 90-day personal reskilling plan. A sample design: every Bodhih program is customised after a short needs analysis.
How long is human skills for the AI era training?
The recommended design is two days in person, from 09:30 to 17:30, with a 90-day reskilling plan afterwards. It also runs as five live virtual sessions of 2.5 hours each over two to three weeks, with work-based assignments between sessions.
What activities are included in human skills for the AI era training?
Participants map their own role into automate, augment and human-led tasks, find the flaws in AI outputs from their domain, calm a customer a chatbot has failed, try to beat an AI first draft, redesign a real workflow and take a human-plus-AI escalation challenge scored by a panel.
How we deliver it
Hands-on with real tools
Participants work with the AI tools your organisation permits, so human skills training happens in the same workflows they use every day.
Contrast exercises
Groups compare AI-only, human-only and combined answers to the same task, which makes the value of human skills concrete.
Honest conversation
Facilitators create space to discuss fears about AI without dismissing them, then move the group towards practical action.
ADDIE customisation
Bodhih analyses your roles and AI roadmap first, so cases and the reskilling plan reflect how work is really changing in your teams.
Tailored versions
For IT services and GCC teams
Cases on AI copilots in coding, testing and support, with emphasis on client judgement and explaining trade-offs.
For customer-facing teams
Deeper practice on empathy, escalation and the human touch in AI-assisted service and sales.
For managers
Adds how to talk to teams about AI, redesign roles fairly and coach people through their reskilling plans.
How we measure impact
We design evaluation into the program using ADDIE. Participants can take pre and post assessments on AssessAll across competencies such as critical thinking, emotional intelligence and adaptability. Each reskilling plan is reviewed with a manager, and at 30, 60 and 90 days we check progress on the chosen skills and gather examples of better human-plus-AI work. A short confidence survey on working with AI, run before and after, shows whether anxiety is turning into readiness.
Pair this program with AssessAll, Bodhih’s AI assessment platform, for pre- and post-program skill measurement.
Frequently asked questions
What human skills can AI not replace?
AI is strong at pattern-matching and producing content, but people still lead on judgement in ambiguous situations, empathy, ethical reasoning, building trust, creative synthesis and collaboration across groups. These skills decide which problem to solve, whether an answer fits the context and how people will respond. Human skills training strengthens exactly these capabilities so they grow in value as AI spreads.
What are human skills in the workplace?
Human skills, sometimes called soft or power skills, are the interpersonal and thinking abilities that shape how people work together and make decisions. They include communication, empathy, critical thinking, creativity, adaptability, collaboration and self-awareness. In an AI-augmented workplace they become the differentiator, because technical tasks are increasingly shared with machines.
How can employees prepare for AI at work?
Start by understanding which tasks in your role AI can speed up, then invest in both AI fluency and the human skills that sit around it. A personal reskilling plan helps: choose a small number of skills, learn them through real projects and review progress with your manager. This program walks each participant through that process step by step.
Is this an AI tools course?
Not primarily. Participants use AI tools during exercises, but the focus is the human judgement, empathy, creativity and collaboration needed to work well alongside them. For tool-specific skills, Bodhih offers separate AI literacy, generative AI and Copilot programs, and many organisations pair one of those with human skills training for a complete path.
How does the program handle employee anxiety about AI?
Openly and practically. We give people space to name their concerns, separate realistic change from hype and look at their own role task by task. Most participants find that clarity reduces anxiety, especially once they have a concrete reskilling plan. For deeper distress, we signpost your employee support services rather than treating it within the workshop.
What is a personal reskilling plan?
It is a short, practical document each participant builds in the final module. It names two human skills and one AI-related skill to develop over 90 days, with specific learning activities, on-the-job practice and a date to review with their manager. It turns a broad goal like staying relevant into steps someone can start next week.
Can the program be delivered across locations?
Yes. Bodhih runs programs in person across India, the Middle East, South Asia, Southeast Asia, Far East Asia, Australia and New Zealand and Africa, with master trainers travelling from Bengaluru. It also works well as live virtual sessions, which suits distributed teams already working with collaboration and AI tools every day.
