Why a journey, not a one-off workshop
Presence and structure improve with repeated practice and feedback on real stakes. Recording, coaching and real presentations between sessions provide both.
A review of 317 experiments found that spacing learning over time gives better long-term retention than massing it into one session.
Employers expect nearly 40% of the skills required on the job to change by 2030, and 59 in every 100 workers to need reskilling or upskilling.

Sample workshop plan: 3 workshop days, hands-on
These are the classroom days inside the executive communication journey. Workshop 1 is about structure and brevity: each participant rebuilds a real update so the answer comes first, cuts a long paper to one page and a long deck to three slides. Workshop 2 starts from clips of their real presentations and moves to presence, video calls and a hostile steering committee simulation. The final talk closes the journey with a recorded talk to senior leaders, scored against the same rubric as the baseline.
Participants leave with one real update rebuilt answer-first, a one-page summary and a three-slide version ready for their next leadership meeting.

Between them, participants present in real meetings and work with a coach. Each workshop can also run as two live virtual sessions of three and a half hours.
What activities are included in the executive communication learning journey workshops?
Participants rebuild a real update answer-first, cut a 14-page paper to one page and a 22-slide deck to three slides, and face a question storm. They present to a hostile steering committee on camera, review the tape with a peer and finish with a recorded final talk scored by senior leaders.
