Sales executive training gives new and junior sellers the whole sales conversation in a repeatable form: preparing for a call, opening, discovery questions, presenting value, handling objections, closing and following up, practised in role plays built on your own products and customers. Bodhih runs it as a two-day in-person workshop or four live virtual sessions, followed by manager-led practice and a before-and-after assessment on AssessAll, for field, inside, retail and BFSI sales executives across India, in English or Hindi.
Who it is for
- Sales executives in their first two years: field sales, inside sales, retail counter and showroom staff, branch and BFSI relationship executives, SaaS SDRs and account executives.
- Campus hires joining sales teams (often combined with campus to corporate).
- Experienced sellers moving to a new product line or a consultative motion.
For managers of these teams, see sales management training and the sales coaching program.
What the program covers
| Module | What the executive practises | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Preparation and the sales conversation map | Researching the account, setting a call objective, the seven stages of a sale | 2 hours |
| Opening and building rapport | A 30-second opener that earns the next 10 minutes; rapport without small talk | 1.5 hours |
| Discovery questioning | Open, probing and implication questions; listening and note-taking; see sales discovery questioning | 3 hours |
| Presenting value | Features to outcomes; proof; demos and samples; pricing conversations | 2.5 hours |
| Handling objections | The six objections your team hears most, scripted and practised | 2 hours |
| Closing and follow-up | Asking for the next step, trial closes, the follow-up cadence; see sales closing skills | 2 hours |
| Pipeline hygiene | CRM discipline, forecasting the week, what to do with a stalled deal | 1 hour |
Every module ends with a recorded role play on a real product and a feedback sheet the manager keeps using.
How it is delivered and measured
- Formats: two days in person at your site (batches of 12 to 20), or four live virtual sessions of 2.5 hours; Hindi delivery available (sales training in Hindi).
- Before and after: a sales skills assessment on AssessAll at the start and at 90 days; conversion and pipeline measures agreed with the sales head.
- After the room: a 30-day call-practice plan run by the manager, a weekly 20-minute coaching check-in and the online Applied AI for Sales Pathway for teams that use AI assistants for research and follow-up.
- Cost: quoted per batch after a short needs analysis; see the cost guide and calculator.
Frequently asked questions
What is sales executive training?
A program that teaches new and junior salespeople the complete sales conversation (preparation, opening, discovery, value, objections, closing, follow-up) and has them practise it on their own products until it is repeatable. It differs from advanced programs such as key account management or complex B2B selling , which assume the basics are in place.
How long is a sales executive training program?
Two days in person or four live virtual sessions, then 30 days of manager-led practice. Bodhih measures the result at 90 days rather than at the end of the workshop.
Is sales executive training available in Hindi?
Yes. Field, retail and BFSI branch batches are often run fully in Hindi; see the Hindi sales training page .
What is the difference between sales executive training and a sales coaching program?
Sales executive training builds the seller's skills; a sales coaching program builds the manager's ability to improve those skills week by week through ride-alongs, call reviews and one-to-ones. Running both, a month apart, is the most reliable design.
Can the program cover our product and pricing?
Yes. Bodhih builds the role plays, objection scripts and value statements from your product sheets, recorded calls and your top sellers' practice during the needs analysis.
