Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Agile and Scrum?
Agile is a mindset and set of values and principles described in the Agile Manifesto. Scrum is a specific framework for putting Agile into practice, with defined accountabilities, events and artefacts organised around short sprints. Kanban and Lean are other ways to work in an Agile manner. The program covers all three and when to use each.
Is Agile only for software teams?
No. Agile started in software, but its ideas of short feedback loops, visible work and continuous improvement suit many teams. Marketing, HR, operations and product teams also use Scrum or Kanban. Bodhih customises examples and simulations to the group, so non-IT participants can see how the practices fit their work.
Does this training prepare for Scrum Master certification?
The program covers core Scrum concepts from the Scrum Guide that appear in entry-level Scrum Master certifications. It helps participants prepare by building a clear, practical understanding. Bodhih does not issue those vendor certifications or deliver their exams. Teams wanting a certification path can add exam-focused practice.
What is Kanban and when should a team use it?
Kanban is a method for managing work by visualising it on a board, limiting work in progress and improving flow. It suits teams with continuous or unpredictable work, such as support, operations or maintenance, where fixed sprints are hard to plan. Many teams also combine Kanban practices with Scrum.
How long does Agile and Scrum training take?
Bodhih's recommended program is two days in person, or four half-day live virtual sessions. This gives time for concepts, practice on user stories and estimation, and a full sprint simulation. Shorter awareness sessions for leaders and longer coaching support for new Scrum Masters can be added depending on your needs.
Who is the Agile and Scrum Training program for?
IT teams, engineers and technology professionals. Bodhih tailors the examples, case studies and depth to your industry, culture and team level.
How long is the Agile and Scrum Training program?
The standard program runs 2 days. Bodhih can shorten or extend it to fit your goals and schedule.
Can Agile and Scrum Training be delivered online?
Yes. Agile and Scrum Training can run in person at your location, as live virtual sessions for distributed or hybrid teams, or as a blended journey that adds self-paced learning on Bodhih.org between sessions.
How is the impact of Agile and Scrum Training measured?
Success measures for Agile and Scrum Training are agreed with you before design, as part of the ADDIE model. Bodhih can add pre- and post-program assessments on AssessAll and manager check-ins to track behaviour change.
