Work from home is over! Many Organizations are all set to welcome employees back to offices. Our work style has changed dramatically since pandemic and organizations made the move to remote work. Now bringing the work from home trend to an end and bringing back all the employees to office could be challenge for a few.
Earlier employees had challenges in making their home a workspace to work comfortability, now they have got used the comforts of working from home. There are surveys which shows most of the employees are feeling anxious to return to office. This is going to be one of the hardest change management an organization can do.
Asking employees to return to the workplace and pointing to the job requirements as the primary reason for their return to the office will not work. Instead, Organizations must create an environment that is safe and compelling and gives employees a reason to return to their workplace.
So how can we make this transition easier?
It is the organization’s responsibility to make sure that the employees feel safe and protected at the workplace. It is also important they need to be transparent about the measures they have taken to help employees feel safe and comfortable with returning and give them the needed time to adjust. Communicating the expectations and giving potential timelines will help employees transition back to the office and adjust. Employee training and development activities are another way to engage employees and bring them back together.
Bodhih Training can help your employees transition seamlessly back to the office with a positive mental attitude.
