## Why oversight is the new AI skill

Early AI tools waited for a prompt and returned text. Agents go further: they break a goal into steps, pull data, fill forms and send messages. That shifts the employee's job from writing prompts to delegating, setting limits and checking results, much like managing a fast but literal new colleague.

Without those habits, teams either avoid agents or trust them too far. AI agents training for employees builds the middle path: clear briefs, sensible checkpoints and a human who still owns every decision that matters.

> Half of employers plan to re-orient their business in response to AI, and two-thirds plan to hire talent with specific AI skills.

## What participants will be able to do

### Choose what to delegate

Sort their own tasks into hand to an agent, do with an agent and keep human, using risk and reversibility as the test.

### Brief an agent with limits

Write an agent brief that states the goal, sources, steps it may take, steps it must not take and when to stop.

### Check output and actions

Review both what an agent produced and what it did, using a short checklist matched to the task's risk.

### Spot confident errors

Recognise invented facts, wrong numbers and silent shortcuts that look polished but are untrue.

### Keep humans on decisions

Place approval points before anything is sent, paid, published or changed for a customer.

### Redesign a weekly workflow

Rebuild one recurring weekly task around an agent, with checkpoints and a measure of time saved and errors caught.

## Who should attend

- Analysts in finance, operations and market research who compile recurring reports
- Managers deciding how their team should use agent features in everyday tools
- GCC and shared-services staff running high-volume knowledge processes
- HR, procurement and customer teams piloting agents for research, drafting and follow-ups
- Employees who have used AI chat tools and now need to supervise agents that act

- Sharing what works with the team

## Sample training plan: 1-day hands-on design

This one-day design treats an AI agent like a fast, literal new colleague. Participants watch agents plan and act in a sandbox, sort their own week into tasks to hand over or keep, and write briefs with clear limits. They hunt for planted errors in agent output and step logs, then place human approval points in a real workflow. The capstone is a month-end report run by an agent that quietly goes wrong. Each person leaves with a 30-day workflow pilot.

75% hands-on practice · 6.8 contact hours · Cohort: 12–24 participants · In person · Live virtual

### Day 1: Delegate to agents, keep control

Participants can decide what to delegate, brief an agent with limits, check its work and redesign one workflow with human approval points.

1. 09:30–10:00 · Human or agent? (Energiser)
2. 10:00–10:45 · Watch an agent work (Demo & practice)
3. 11:00–12:00 · What to hand over (Diagnostic)
4. 12:45–13:45 · Brief it like a new colleague (Skill drill)
5. 13:45–14:45 · Find the planted errors (Group challenge)
6. 15:00–16:00 · Capstone: month-end on autopilot (Simulation)
7. 16:00–17:00 · Redesign one weekly workflow (Build sprint)
8. 17:00–17:30 · My 30-day pilot (Action planning)

Recommended: 1 day in person (09:30–17:30), or 2 × 3.5-hour live virtual sessions, plus a 30-day workflow pilot. A sample design: every Bodhih program is customised after a short needs analysis.

### How long is working with AI agents training?

The recommended design is one day in person or two live virtual sessions of three and a half hours, followed by a 30-day workflow pilot with manager check-ins at 30, 60 and 90 days.

### What activities are included in working with AI agents training?

Participants watch an agent plan and act in a sandbox, map which of their tasks to delegate, write and test agent briefs, hunt for planted errors in agent output and step logs, supervise a month-end report that goes wrong and redesign one weekly workflow.

## How we deliver it

### Agent sandboxes

Participants work with agents on safe practice data, so they can watch them plan, act and fail without real consequences.

### Planted errors

Every checking exercise hides mistakes, from a wrong total to an invented source, and participants race to find them.

### Own-work redesign

Each person brings a real recurring task and leaves with a redesigned version ready to pilot.

### Tool-neutral teaching

Skills are taught independent of any one product, so they transfer to whichever agent tools your organisation approves.

## Tailored versions

### For GCC and shared services

Cases use high-volume processes such as reconciliations, vendor queries and report packs, with checkpoints sized to volume.

### For people managers

Adds a module on setting team rules for agent use, reviewing team members' agent-assisted work and coaching sensible trust.

### Leadership briefing

A two-hour session for senior leaders on where agents fit, where humans must decide and how to support teams through the change.

## How we measure impact

Measurement follows the Evaluate stage of ADDIE. Before the program, participants take the AssessAll AI Agent Oversight and [Delegation](https://bodhih.com/effective-delegation-techniques/) Assessment for Knowledge Work and AI Draft Supervision: Reviewing What the Machine Wrote, and repeat both as a post-assessment at day 90. Those who complete the pilot can attempt AssessAll Certified: AI Collaboration (AICQ). Managers check in at 30, 60 and 90 days on the redesigned workflow, time saved and errors caught.

Pair this program with [AssessAll](https://assessall.com), Bodhih’s AI assessment platform, for pre- and post-program skill measurement.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is AI agents training for employees?

AI agents training for employees is a program that teaches staff to delegate tasks to AI agents and supervise them. Unlike basic prompt courses, it focuses on choosing what to hand over, writing briefs with clear limits, checking what an agent produced and did, catching confident errors and keeping a human in charge of decisions.

### What is an AI agent at work?

An AI agent is software that takes a goal, plans the steps and carries them out, such as searching files, drafting a report, filling a form or sending a follow-up. A chat assistant answers one request at a time. An agent acts across several steps, which saves time but means its actions need checking, not just its words.

### What should employees delegate to AI agents?

Start with tasks that are repetitive, low-risk and easy to check or undo, such as compiling a weekly data summary, first drafts of routine replies or gathering background for a meeting. Keep tasks that involve money, customer commitments, people decisions or confidential data under close human control. The program gives a simple three-test filter.

### How do you check an AI agent's work?

Check both the result and the route. Read the agent's step log to see which sources it used and what it changed. Spot-check numbers and names against the original data, and look for claims with no source. Match the depth of checking to the risk: a customer email needs more than an internal note.

### Can AI agents make decisions on their own?

They can take actions, but [accountability](https://bodhih.com/accountability-at-work-training/) stays with people. Good practice is to place approval points before anything is sent outside the organisation, paid, published or changed in a customer record. Agents can recommend and prepare, and a named employee approves. Participants design these approval points into their own workflow.

### How do you keep confidential data safe when using AI agents?

Use only the agent tools your organisation has approved, and give an agent access to the minimum data the task needs. Remove personal and commercial details where you can, and never paste confidential files into a public tool. The program includes a short checklist teams can apply before starting any agent task.

### Is this different from prompt engineering or generative AI training?

Yes. Generative AI and [prompt engineering](https://bodhih.com/prompt-engineering-training/) training teach people to get good answers from AI tools. This program assumes that baseline and moves to oversight: delegation decisions, briefs with limits, checking multi-step actions and redesigning workflows. Many organisations run it after an introductory generative AI program.

### Can the program be delivered online or in the Gulf?

Yes. The [live virtual](https://bodhih.com/live-virtual-classes/) version runs as two sessions of three and a half hours with shared agent sandboxes. Bodhih master trainers also travel from Bengaluru to deliver in person across India, Dubai, Riyadh and its other delivery regions, using examples from local banks, retailers, GCCs and family businesses.
