## Sample training plan: 4-day hands-on design

This four-day lab builds front-end developers who can ship modern Angular applications. Participants code from the first hour on one project across the week: a field-service booking app for a home appliances company. They sharpen TypeScript, build standalone components with signals and the new control flow, add routing, reactive forms and services, call REST APIs with proper error handling, write unit tests and prepare a production build. The capstone is a timed feature delivery demoed to a product owner.

80% hands-on practice · 27 contact hours · Cohort: 8–16 developers, each with a laptop and Node.js and the Angular CLI installed · In person · Live virtual

Recommended: 4 days in person (09:30–17:30) for the Angular program, or 8 × 3.5-hour live virtual sessions; a 3-day Node.js, Express and MongoDB program can follow for full-stack teams. A sample design: every Bodhih program is customised after a short needs analysis.

### How long is web technologies training?

The recommended Angular program is four days of hands-on labs, 09:30 to 17:30, or eight live virtual sessions of about three and a half hours. A three-day Node.js, Express and MongoDB program can follow for teams that build full-stack applications.

### What activities are included in web technologies training?

Developers build a field-service booking app across four days. They refactor callback code into async/await, add TypeScript types, build components with signals, hunt state bugs, add routing, reactive forms and API calls, write tests and deliver a new feature in a timed capstone demo.

## When to choose this

✓**Your team is starting or upgrading an Angular application**✓**You are building APIs or services on Node.js**✓**Developers from other stacks need to work on your web products**✓**You want consistent coding standards across front-end and back-end teams**

## Frequently asked questions

### What is the difference between AngularJS and Angular?

AngularJS is the original JavaScript framework, which reached end of support years ago. Angular is a complete rewrite built with TypeScript, with a component-based architecture and regular releases. Modern Angular uses standalone components and signals for reactivity. Bodhih's program teaches current Angular and can include guidance for teams migrating from AngularJS.

### What are Angular signals?

Signals are Angular's way of tracking reactive state. A signal holds a value and tells Angular exactly which parts of the page depend on it, so updates are more precise and efficient. They simplify change detection and reduce the need for some RxJS patterns. The program gives participants hands-on practice building components with signals.

### Is Node.js good for backend development?

Node.js is widely used for APIs, real-time applications and microservices, especially where teams want one language across front and back end. Its non-blocking, event-driven model handles many concurrent connections well. It suits I/O-heavy workloads more than heavy computation. The program explains these trade-offs alongside hands-on Express development.

### What should I know before learning Angular?

Participants should be comfortable with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and have experience with at least one programming language. Knowledge of TypeScript is useful but not required, because the program covers it on the first day. Bodhih shares a setup guide so laptops have Node.js, the Angular CLI and an editor ready.

### Can Angular and Node.js be taken as one full-stack program?

Yes. Bodhih's recommended programs are four days for Angular and three days for Node.js with Express and MongoDB. They can run separately or together as a seven-day full-stack program with a combined capstone. The sequence and depth are customised to your team's stack and experience.

### What does web technologies training cover?

The program covers modern JavaScript and TypeScript, Angular components, signals, services, routing and forms, consuming and building REST APIs with Node.js and Express, working with MongoDB, securing web applications and testing. A sample 4-day plan ends with a capstone, and the Angular and Node.js parts can also be taken as separate programs.
